Proprietors: Cross Moceri, John Griggs, Frank Busch
In 2012, Frank Busch, John Griggs and Cross Moceri formed a close friendship, united by a shared passion for wine and a dream of building their own wine country estate. They believed the Willamette Valley in Oregon held one of the greatest untold wine stories, waiting to be written. After a few years of dedication and a touch of luck, their vision came to life in 2021 with the launch of Tres Colline Vineyards, marking the start of their Oregon wine journey. Today, Tres Colline is growing and thriving as a testament to their friendship, passion and commitment to crafting exceptional experiences.

Winemaker
Grant Coulter
Grant is a seasoned winemaker with a rich career spanning decades in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. His journey began working harvests in California and western Australia before landing in Oregon. After a year working with Hamacher Wines at Carlton Winemakers Studio Grant was hired as assistant winemaker at the esteemed Beaux Freres Vineyard & Winery. After 6 years of working in the Vineyards and Winery he was promoted to Winemaker where he remained until 2016. During this period, Grant honed his craft and developed a deep understanding of the region’s unique terroir, which would become a hallmark of his winemaking philosophy.
In 2015, driven by a shared passion and a vision for creating wines that reflect the spirit of place, Grant and his wife, Renee, embarked on their own journey of founding Hundred Suns Wine. This venture allowed them to channel their expertise and creativity into producing wines that are deeply expressive of the Willamette Valley’s character. Prior to launching Hundred Suns, Grant also lent his talents as winemaker and director of vineyards at Flaneur Wines, further solidifying his reputation as a key figure in the region’s winemaking community. Throughout his career, Grant has remained committed to crafting complex and unique wines that tell exceptional stories, with each bottle a testament to his decades of experience and dedication to the art of winemaking.
